Outstanding family owned seafood restaurant. Amazing amazing customer focused people who go out of the way to make sure their customers have a great experience. Ex - our taxi guy didn't have the chance so I couldn't pay him. Immediately the restaurant staff recognized that.... Told me they do pay & include the money in our bill! Simple! I didn't even ask for the solution & they had it solved! & The food was spectacular! They are known for their sea food& it shows. The freshness of the sea food, preparation was great. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND La Perlita.
Best seafood restaurant on Cozumel ,hav eaten here for many years and visited 3 times on last visit in late February. Have eaten most of the menu octopus , snapper, shrimps and the b Chile Reanos. Great margaritas and cheviche . Victor is the man!
Amazing ceviche, I had octopus ceviche, my wife had lion fish ceviche, and my niece had shrimp ceviche. We all really enjoyed our meals. My friend had the coconut shrimp and it blew my mind how good it was. They make their guacamole fresh when you order it. My only criticism is that the tortilla chips were a little burnt, but that’s just me looking for something to criticize.
Please excuse the late submission. My wife and I both had dinner at La Perlita a couple weeks ago. This was our second time dining at this restaurant previously. We had been there 10 years ago while vacationing in Cozumel. This is a local restaurant. Certainly off the beaten path from most tourist traffic to the island. It is an open air restaurant. We were quickly seated at our table. Our waiter was fluent in English as we spoke no Spanish. The restaurant is able to get lionfish on occasion and it was my desire to try this fish. I chose to have my lionfish fried with a light unsweetened coconut breading. The shrimp were very well cooked with a large serving of garlic. We both enjoyed our meals very much and highly they recommend the restaurant. The restaurant is easily accessible by taxi or colectivo.
Hidden gem. Delicious and fresh seafood. Loved the fried huachinango. Nice shrimp cocktail and tacos. Excellent service. Local and sober decoration but nice place. Great prices for the quality and portions.
The best local spot! We had a great experience dining at this place. We had fish & shrimp taco, ceviche, and catch of the day. They were all amazing!! This place also have the best horchata!
This place is a little bit out of the way from the main downtown area, which is a good thing in my opinion. I LOVED it & they do take major credit cards. I had an awesome Shrimp Cocktail to start with & freshly caught Grouper Fish Fillet grilled with garlic & seasonal vegetables. It was all GREAT & the same staff were very attentive & definitely care about what they are doing to please you. I would definitely go again & recommend it to all! Two thumbs up from me!
Definitely a stop if you are interested in sea food. This is a family run place with extremely flavorful meals. The menu is well curated and the service is top notch.
